\"\"<\/a>Attached to the Africa Business School (ABS), the Chair of Complexities \u221e Humanities is tasked with reinforcing the ties with other UM6P Schools and Departments by facilitating:<\/p>\n

\u2022   teachings on complexity sciences delivered within ABS and UM6P and their articulation with human and managerial sciences<\/p>\n

\u2022   their dissemination through cultural and scientific events as well as publications and multimedia productions<\/p>\n

\u2022   their \u201cinsemination\u201d through workshops, case studies, and field surveys<\/p>\n

The Chair\u2019s various activities will focus on:<\/p>\n

\u2022   deepening the specifically human and social dimensions of complexity<\/p>\n

\u2022   the contribution of the Chair\u2019s themes to the managerial approach of organizations<\/p>\n

\u2022   the spirit of creativity and innovation through a circulation of ideas and concrete initiatives all oriented towards the \u2018learning by doing\u2019 approach.<\/p>\n

\u2022   the emulation or implementation of multidisciplinary approaches, transversality, and critical thinking<\/p>\n

The objective of the Chair of Complexities \u221e Humanities is to support actors within UM6P in their processes of transformation and learning. By providing young managers, engineers, scientific researchers, and students \u2013 who are well-trained in cutting-edge fields \u2013 with a mastery of transdisciplinary tools, the ambition is to reinforce their self-reliance and empower them with a humanist and civic culture.<\/p>\n

Reda Benkirane, Affiliate Full Professor, is in charge of this Chair.<\/p>\n

Reda Benkirane, a sociologist and doctor in philosophy (study of systems), has a dual background as a social science researcher and an expert in international affairs. His multidisciplinary approach, empirical knowledge and publications are all based on a methodological approach which relies on the heuristics of dialogue (as a path to knowledge otherwise out of reach), sustained attention to otherness, diversity and singularity, the understanding of nonlinear and contradictory phenomena, deep listening and participant observation.<\/p>\n

\u2022 l\u2019esprit de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et d\u2019innovation au travers de la circulation des id\u00e9es et d\u2019initiatives concr\u00e8tes toutes ax\u00e9es sur l\u2019apprentissage par \u00ab le faire \u00bb (learning by doing<\/i>)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022  l\u2019\u00e9mulation ou la mise en acte des approches multidisciplinaires, de la transversalit\u00e9 et du sens critique<\/span><\/p>\n

La finalit\u00e9 de la Chaire Complexit\u00e9s \u221e Humanit\u00e9s est d\u2019accompagner des acteurs au sein de l\u2019UM6P dans le cadre des processus en cours de transformation et d\u2019apprentissage. En dotant de jeunes cadres manag\u00e9riaux, ing\u00e9nieurs, chercheurs scientifiques et \u00e9tudiants \u2013 par ailleurs excellemment form\u00e9s dans des domaines de pointe \u2013 d\u2019une ma\u00eetrise des outils de la \u00ab transdiscipline \u00bb, l\u2019ambition est de renforcer leur autonomie (self-reliance<\/i>) et de les \u00ab empuissanter \u00bb de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 les doter d\u2019une culture humaniste et citoyenne. <\/span><\/p>\n

Reda Benkirane, professeur titulaire affili\u00e9, est en charge de cette chaire.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reda Benkirane, sociologue, docteur en philosophie (\u00e9tude des syst\u00e8mes), a un double parcours de chercheur en sciences sociales et d\u2019expert en affaires internationales. Son approche multidisciplinaire, ses connaissances empiriques et ses publications proc\u00e8dent d\u2019une m\u00e9thodologie mobilisant le potentiel heuristique du dialogue (comme voie d\u2019acc\u00e8s au savoir), l\u2019attention soutenue \u00e0 l\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9, la diversit\u00e9 et la singularit\u00e9, la saisie des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes non lin\u00e9aires et contradictoires, l\u2019\u00e9coute profonde et l\u2019observation participante.<\/span><\/p>\n
