The courses offered are aimed at students interested in an introduction to new inter-, multi-, and transdisciplinary approaches to knowledge, societies, and cultures. These classes aim to give students of UM6P the tools they need to navigate through thought and learn contemporary facts about science, economics, politics, social sciences, and cultures. Providing them with comprehension and analysis tools will enable them to become self-reliant in their knowledge acquisition, thereby initiating them into critical thinking.<\/span><\/p>\n

The focus is on complexity, its specific “grammar,” key concepts, as well as non-linear processes, criticality phenomena, and deviations from equilibrium found in the sciences of matter, life, and computation, as well as in animal and human societies. The teaching unfolds as a guide to the ongoing recomposition within the sciences and humanities around a vast circulation of ideas associated with a process of multidisciplinary reconfiguration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teachings address the complexity of matter, life, and computation, before moving on to the humanities: areas of knowledge in which non-mathematizable, non-modelable, and qualitative manifestations of complexity take place.<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"Les cours propos\u00e9s s\u2019adressent \u00e0 des \u00e9tudiants – principalement doctorants et en fili\u00e8re de master – int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par les nouvelles approches inter-, multi- et transdisciplinaires des sciences et des savoirs, des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et des cultures. L\u2019objectif de ces enseignements est d\u2019une part de doter les \u00e9tudiants polytechniciens des moyens de s\u2019orienter par la pens\u00e9e pour appr\u00e9hender des faits scientifiques, \u00e9conomiques, politiques, sociaux et  culturels contemporains. Il s\u2019agit de fournir des outils de compr\u00e9hension et d\u2019analyse pour rendre les \u00e9tudiants autonomes dans leur acquisition des connaissances, les initier \u00e0 l\u2019esprit critique et \u00e0 la recherche.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019accent est mis sur la complexit\u00e9, sa \u00ab grammaire \u00bb sp\u00e9cifique et ses notions-cl\u00e9s ainsi que  sur  les  processus  non-lin\u00e9aires,  les  ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes  de  criticalit\u00e9  et  d\u2019\u00e9cart  \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quilibre mis en \u00e9vidence dans les sciences de la mati\u00e8re, du vivant et du calcul, mais aussi dans les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s animales et humaines. L\u2019enseignement d\u00e9ploie une sorte de table d\u2019orientation de la recomposition en cours au sein des sciences et des humanit\u00e9s autour d\u2019une vaste circulation des id\u00e9es associ\u00e9e un processus de remembrement multi\/inter\/trans)disciplinaire.<\/span><\/p>\n
